if you delete the files in the following directory you achieve the same result:
D:\Documents and Settings\UserNameHere\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\ProjectAssemblies
before you follow the steps copy all subdirectories on some folder and then try this..
1) Make sure Visual Studio is not running
2) Remove all the subdirectories in there. Each assembly that VS loads apparently gets its own sub directory. Once those are all gone, the problem seems to go away (until next launch).
